Due to a power surge which resulted in the malfunction of our electrical breaker at the Waila Water Treatment Plant, as a result of this, three (3) out of the six (6) treated water pumps are unable to receive EFL power to operate, however, the three pumps are now being operated by the standby GenSets.
WAF teams are presently looking into the fault to determine the extent of damage and carry out urgent asset maintenance.
