The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers that clear water pump #2 at the Waila Water Treatment Plant has presently been switched off to address an electrical issue.
As a result, customers residing in the areas below will experience low water pressure to no water supply from now, until further notice.
Affected areas are:
⚬ Raralevu Reservoir
Low pressure to no water: Ovea, Cautata, Vatoa, Vunivivi, Kiuva, Naitalasese, Daku, Maumi, Vusuya, Mokani, Naila, Bau Island, Tokatoka, Nakelo, Rewa, Vunimono, Nadali Airport, Wainibokasi, Naselai
⚬ Rewa Reservoir
Low pressure to no water: All feeding from Rewa Reservoir – Dilkusha Road, Ram G Road, Juglal Road, NYPD, LMS, Rewa Depot, Toga villages
Customers in the above areas are kindly advised to store in their homes, sufficient amounts of water to last them for at least 2 to 3 days and are requested to use water wisely during this temporary disruption period.
Water carting trucks are on standy and can be requested in case of an emergency by calling shortcode 1507 (all mobile networks).
