WAF UPDATE – TAMAVUA, FLAGSTAFF, REWA, and RARALEVU RESERVOIRS
The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) would like to advise that the above reservoirs did not recover well to healthy operational levels last night and as a result, water levels will drop throughout the day to critical levels.
In preparation for this, customers in the areas listed below are kindly advised to store in their homes, while it is still available, sufficient amounts of water to last them for at least 2 to 3 days and are requested to use water wisely during this time.
Affected reservoirs and areas are:
📍Tamavua
Beniveli, Delainavesi Nailuva, Namadi Heights, Osonabukete, Panaromic, Princess Road, Uduya Point, Waiqanake.
📍Flagstaff
Amy Street, Brown Street, Domain Road, High Street, Johnson Street, Laucala Bay Road, McGregor Road, Muanikau Road, Ratu Sukuna Road, Stewart Street, Spring Street, Queen Elizabeth Drive, and Victoria Parade from Sukuna Park to Nasese.
📍 Rewa
Dilkusha Road, Ram G Road, Juglal Road, NYPD, LMS, Rewa Depot, Toga.
📍 Raralevu
Ovea, Cautata, Vatoa, Lakena, Vunivivi,Kiuva ,Naitalasese, Daku, Maumi, Vusuya, Mokani,Naila,Bau Island, Tokatoka, Nakelo, Rewa, Vunimono, Nadali Airport, Wainibokasi, Naselai
Water carting trucks are on standby and can be requested in the case of an emergency by calling 5777 (all mobile networks).
