WAF UPDATE – TOVATA SYSTEM AND RARALEVU RESERVOIR
The Water Authority of Fiji would like to advise that the water levels at the Raralevu, Dokanaisuva, and Colo-I-Suva Reservoirs are dropping which may cause low presssure to intermittent supply until further notice.
In preparation for this, customers in the areas listed below are kindly advised to store in their homes, while it is still available, sufficient amounts of water to last them for at least 2 to 3 days and are requested to use water wisely during this time.
Affected areas:
– Raralevu Reservoir
All feeding from Raralevu Reservoir and Raralevu Koro Reservoir – Ovea, Cautata, Vatoa, Lakena, Vunivivi, Kiuva ,Naitalasese, Daku, Maumi, Vusuya, Mokani, Naila, Bau Island, Tokatoka, Nakelo, Rewa, Vunimono, Nadali Airport, Wainibokasi, Naselai, Raralevu Koro, Buiduna.
– Dokanaisuva Reservoir
Low Pressure to Elevated areas – Seventh Day Church Dokanaisuva to Tacirua Fijian School, Vunuleba Settlement
– Colo-i-Suva Reservoir
Low Pressure to Elevated areas – Naisogo, Colo-i-Suva Crest Chicken, Princess Road, Marshall Road, Taqairua, Vunikawai, Uluibeka, Colanaivau, Valesasa, Naitaqiri Nillgrey
Water carting trucks are on standby and can be requested in case of an emergency by calling 5777 (all mobile networks).
