The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise Fijians living in Nasinu and parts of Suva that they may experience low to intermittent supply of water at times from 9pm to 5am (during off-peak hours) daily from tonight (21/02) to Saturday (29/02).
Affected areas include:
- Davuilevu
- Nakasi
- Tuirara
- Makoi
- Valelevu
- Upper Cunningham
- Upper Khalsa Road
- Tacirua
- Upper 6 miles
- Dokanaisuva
- Princess Road
- Colo-i-Suva
- Upper Nailuva Road
- Domain
The temporary interruption to water supply is experienced as WAF engineers and technical teams carry out operational works in an effort to build-up and sustain water levels in reservoirs that are servicing these areas.
Water carting trucks are on standby to service the affected areas during the temporary disruption period.
The Authority advises Fijians residing in the areas above to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.
