Public Advisory – Unplanned Water Disruption Notice

The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise our customers that blockage due to debris, and high turbidity (dirt in the water) caused by the heavy rains, is affecting our Waimanu Raw Water pump.

As turbidity keeps increasing, production at our Tamavua Water Treatment Plant will be impacted, disrupting water supply to customers in the areas listed below.

While reservoir levels remain healthy this morning, we kindly ask our customers to store enough water for at least 2 to 3 days worth of use.

Our operations dive team is onsite, to clear the blockage, but the current conditions means that diving is not safe at this time, so our team will have to wait until floodwaters recede.
