The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its commercial and domestic customers living in the following parts of Vatuwaqa that wastewater services will be disrupted from this evening (29/03) to 7pm tomorrow (30/03).
Affected areas include:
• PTC Major Waste Water Pump Station – Whole of Nasese
• Gymnasium Waste Water Pump Station – University of the South Pacific (USP), Rups Apartments and Fiji National University – Fiji Maritime Academy
• Fletcher Waste Water Pump Station – Vatuwaqa Industrial Area• Raiwaqa Waste Water Pump Station – Raiwaqa and Raiwai area
• Rifle Range Waste Water Pump Station – Rifle Range Area
The interruption in waste water services is to allow WAF crew members to carry out repairs to waste water main leakage situated along Ranjit Garments in Vatuwaqa.
The Authority is kindly advising its customers in the areas mentioned above that seven bailing trucks will be engaged to control any overflow during the temporary disruption period.
Wastewater services are expected to be normalised by 7pm tomorrow (30/03).
The Authority highly regrets any inconvenience caused to its customers.
