The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers living in parts of Tavua area that customers will be experiencing low water pressure to no water at times during the day from today (16/01/18) to Friday (19/01/18).
Areas Affected Include;

- Whole of Yaladro.

- Masimasi, Malele, Waikatakata, Lakalaka Road, Balata and Korovou.

This water disruption is due to the reduction of intake production capacity as a result of continuous rain causing flooding in Nasivi River at the intake.
Our operations team is working round the clock to normalize the system. It is expected that the restoration of water will be completed by Friday evening. However, the restoration operation will depend on the weather conditions.
The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing in these areas to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period. Water carts will be on standby to service the affected areas as and when the need arises.
The Authority highly regrets any inconvenience caused to its customers.
