The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers living in the following areas that they might be experiencing low water pressures situations from today (12th March) to Thursday (15th March).
Affected Areas Include;
• Tacirua• Dokanaisuva
• Colo-i-suva
• Tamavua Village and Ragg Avenue
The low pressure situation in water supply is as a result of electricity shutdown on 11th March affecting Khalsa Booster Pumping Station. Currently, the Booster Pumping Station is back in normal operation. However, the supply will be affected due to low water levels in our clear water reservoirs as a result of reduction of water production during the electricity shutdown period. The Water Supply is expected to be gradually restored by Thursday morning (15/03/2018).
Water carts will be on standby to service the affected areas as and when the need arises.The Authority highly regrets any inconvenience caused to its customers. For further enquiries, customers can call 3346777 and 5777 (Vodafone, Digicel & Inkk users) or email contact@waf.com.fj
