The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers living in the following elevated parts of Nausori that water supply will be disrupted from 9 pm Monday night (4/02) to 4 am Tuesday morning (5/02).
Affected Areas Include:
- Kasavu Road
- Baulevu Road
- Prince Road
- Verata Village
- Lakena
The interruption in supply is to conduct maintenance and relocation works to the water main on the bridge at Verata Village along the Queens Road.
The planned works are part of the ongoing construction of the new Verata Bridge by the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA).
The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing in the areas above to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.
Water carting trucks are on standby to service the areas as and when the need arises.
For water carting requests members of the public are to contact the Authority’s National Call Centre on 3346777 or 5777.
Water supply is expected to be restored by 4 am Tuesday morning (5/02).
