WAF ground teams are carrying out urgent repairs to leakage on the DN600 bulk supply trunk mains from Nagado Water Treatment Plant to Lautoka.

This repair needs to be completed this weekend to minimize the risks of leakage deteriorating. We expect water usage to peak during Diwali next weekend.

The supply to the Lautoka Hospital, Lautoka CBD and Fire station shall be maintained.

The scheduled repair will require a total shutdown of the duplicate DN600 bulk main from the Nagado water treatment plant to fully isolate the repair site. WAF teams will work around the clock to restore water to affected areas – water restoration will occur progressively.

The Authority advises customers residing in the areas above to use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period and store water at all times for at least two days.
