The Water Authority of Fiji, wishes to advise its customers living in the following parts of Nadi areas that they will be experiencing low water pressure to intermittent water supply at times during the day from today Saturday (02/06) to 8.00pm Monday (04/06).
Affected Areas Include;Taci, Togomasi, Togo Lavusa, Malolo, Navo, Tunalia, Korovuto, Transmitter Top, Nacovi, Sonaisali, Veiladan, Nasau, Vutuvutu, Katigari, Mulomulo Top, Tabarak, Malamala, Nawaicoba, Nabila, Yako, Nalovo, Fiji Marriot Resort Momi Bay, and Uciwai.
The anticipated low pressure situation is a result of testing and commissioning of the new pumping stations at the Momi reticulation system. The planned operational test works will be carried out during the day through peak & off peak hours from 8.00am to 6.00pm, therefore WAF anticipates there will be disruptions in water to customers residing in elevated areas along the Southern end of Nadi.
The commissioning works is expected to be completed by Monday 11.30am and water supply to affected customers shall be gradually restored by 8.00pm Monday (04/06/2018).
Customers residing in the areas listed above are advised to store enough and use water wisely for their immediate needs during the period.
The Authority highly regrets any inconvenience caused to its customers due to the disruption as a result of unavoidable circumstances as explained above.
