The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers living in the following parts of Waila to Nasinu that water supply will be disrupted from this evening until 5am tomorrow morning (27/03).
Areas Affected Include:
- Tuirara/Makoi Feed
- Lower Khalsa Feed
- Upper Khalsa Feed
- Nagatugatu Feed
- Tacirua Reservoir Feed
- Dokanaisuva Reservoir Feed
- Colaisuva Reservoir Feed
- Wainibuku Road
- Nakasi
- Davuilevu
- Dibulu
- Koronivia
- Nepani
- Nadawa
- Ratu Dovi Road
- Nadera
- Narere/ Navosai
- Omkar Road
- Makoi Road
- Kalokalo Crescent
- And also elevated areas of Wainibuku to Suva Corridor
The interruption in supply is due to a burst main along the Waila Water Treatment Plant. WAF crew members are currently on site to rectify the fault. The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing in the areas above to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period. For any urgent water carting requests, members of the public are to contact the Authority’s National Call Centre on 5777. Water supply is expected to be normalized by 5am tomorrow morning (27/03).
