1. Information stored on electronic and computing devices whether owned or leased by WAF, remains the sole property of WAF.
2. For security and maintenance, WAF's ICT Unit or its authorised personnel may monitor any or all traffic that flows through WAF ICT Infrastructure. WAF does not reserves the right to audit networks and systems on a periodic basis to ensure compliance with this Policy.
3. __________________________ are responsible for exercising good judgment regarding the reasonable use of WAF's ICT Infrastructure. Pertaining to any uncertainties, employees should consult their immediate supervisor or seek advice from the ICT unit.
4. Where a Mobile Computing Device has been approved, ______________ will pay all necessary rental costs.
5. Applying restrictive access and rights to any accounts created for external contractors to execute their functions. The accounts should be disabled immediately following the completion of the appointed task or project.
6. The following activities is prohibited with no exception.
7. ICT provides a desktop computer, and/or a mobile laptop, and/or similar equipment to an Employee for the purpose of performing job related tasks as deemed appropriate by the Line CO or Manager as the case may be.
8. Disposal of old and obsolete IT equipment and software will only be undertaken by ICT Unit as this process requires proper care to ensure the right Information is deleted and that it is deleted permanently to avoid the risk of the Information or files being reconstructed through recovery software. This will be done through security software controls.
9. The ICT Unit will provide and install standard software applications (such as office software, web browsers and security software). WAF will only allow email and calendar on personal devices;
10. All WAF owned computer devices must have antivirus software installed by ICT Unit prior to use. Antivirus software must be configured and enforced by configuration policies which restrict Users from unauthorised changes to any antivirus settings

How much is the Lodgment fee?

  • House under construction / Vacant land / Commercial or Industrial
    • $101.00.
  • Completely built house. – [Please provide a letter from the lands department and/ or completion certificate ]
    • $21.95. [Please provide a letter from the lands department. completion certificate or Stamped Statutory declaration on the completion of the house]

Processing Time

  • Inspection to Approval – 15 Working days from the inspection date.
  • Installation – 30 Working days from payment of New Connection cost, on a first-come, first-serve basis. [Stakeholder processing may cause delays]. *Note: Approval of installation is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.

How much does the new connection cost?

  • Type A – $285 [“T” from existing connection] Type B $345 [direct connection from WAF main line]
  • New connection costs for Commercial and Industrial customers will be estimated according to requirements and a cost will be provided.
  • Road Crossing/ Service Enlargement is payable if required for additional meters requested. This will be communicated when the approval of internal and external stakeholders are obtained. WAF on behalf of FRA will refund any unused monies to the customer where applicable.
