PLANNED WATER DISRUPTION NOTICE – WAINIBUKU PUMP STATION
The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers that the Wainibuku Pump Station will be temporarily shutdown for electrical rectification works from 11:00pm Wednesday, 22 December, 2021, until further notice.
As a result of these essential and necessary works, our customers in the areas listed below will experience a temporary disruption in their water supply.
Affected areas are:
– All Feeding from Tovata Reservoir
Makoi, Kalivetau, Veitata, Tovata Road, Qaranivalu, Caubati Koro, Daniva, Niubalavu, Raikiwai, Niuvula, Niusawa Lane, Tacirua East, Cunningham, Khalsa Road.
– All feeding from Tacirua Reservoir – low pressure to no water
Tamavua Koro, Upper Ragg, Deovji Street, Tacirua Bus, Amputch Street, Princess Road.
– All feeding from Dokanaisuva Reservoir- low pressure to no water
Seventh Day Church Dokanaisuva to Tacirua Fijian School, Vunuleba Settlement.
– All feeding from Colo-i-Suva Reservoir – low pressure to no water
Naisogo, Colo-i-Suva Crest Chicken, Princess Road, Marshall Road, Taqairua, Vunikawai, Uluibeka, Colanaivau, Valesasa, Naitaqiri Nillgrey
In preparation for this, customers in the above areas are kindly advised to store in their homes, sufficient amounts of water to last them for at least 2 to 3 days and are requested to use water wisely during this temporary disruption period.
Water carting trucks are on standby and can be requested in case of an emergency by calling shortcode 1507 (all mobile networks).
