The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) would like to advise our valued customers residing in the areas listed below that the following reservoirs are approaching critical low levels.
Customers feeding from these reservoirs will experience low pressure to no water this evening, this is due to the continuous heavy rains impacting our treatment efforts at the Tamavua Water Treatment Plant to replenish treated water levels at the following storage reservoirs.
Nagatugatu Reservoir:
No Water all feeding from Nagatugatu – Wrong Turn, Sakoca, Upper Khalsa, Tacirua Heights, Nagatugatu Residents next to Reservoir.
Tacirua Reservoir:
All feeding from Tacirua Reservoir – Tamavua Koro, Upper Ragg, Deovji Street, Tacirua Bus, Amputch Street, Princess Road.
Dokanisuva Reservoir:
Low pressure to No Water – All feeding from Dokanisuva – Seventh Day Church Dokanaisuva to Tacirua Fijian School, Vunuleba Settlement.
Colo-i-Suva Reservoir:
All feeding from Colo-i-Suva – Naisogo, Colo-i-Suva Crest Chicken, Princess Road, Marshall Road, Taqairua, Vunikawai, Uluibeka, Colanaivau, Valesasa, Naitaqiri Nillgrey.
Water treatment production at the Tamavua Water Treatment Plant will normalise once turbidity levels are within manageable levels.
