The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise our customers living in Navua that water supply to the Navua and Nayagi District Metered Area (DMA) will be affected, due to a break down affecting our genset and low water levels caused by the persistent dry spell experienced over the past few weeks.
As a result, our customers in the areas listed below will experience low water pressure to intermittent water supply from now, Friday, 29 October 2021, until further notice.
Affected areas are:
Nayagi DMA:
⚬ Viwawa
⚬ Nasasa
⚬ Naitata
⚬ High Building in Town
⚬ Part of Vuninokonoko
⚬ Naitonitoni
Navua DMA:
⚬ Raiwaqa Area
⚬ Waiyanitu
⚬ Navua Hospital
⚬ High Buildings in Calia and Tokotoko Area
⚬ Tokotoko Highway
Customers in the above areas are kindly advised to store in their homes, sufficient amounts of water to last them for at least 2 to 3 days and are requested to use water wisely during this temporary disruption period.
Water carting trucks are on standby and can be requested in case of an emergency by calling shortcode 1507 (all mobile networks).
