The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers in the following parts of Rakiraki that they will experience intermittent supply from now until 12am (24/12).
Affected Areas Include:
- Rewasa, Korotale, Drana
- Mead Road, Ilikini Road, Vatumami, Thompson Place
- Penang, FSC Line, FSC, Colasi, Seko, CMF
- Rakiraki Town, Qelema, Nadovi, Nadumu, Yaratale
- Rakiraki Hospital, Rakiraki Village, Korowaqa
- Wairuku, Dociu, Vitawa, Narewa
- Naqoro, Hart Home, Vatusekiyasawa
- Qalau, MH Compound, RC Manubhai
- Naria, Malake Island, Malake Landing
- Naria Seaside, Naria Hill side, Raravatu, and Volivoli
The interruption in supply is due to a fault to the water pumps at the Qalau Pumping Station, which WAF staff are currently working on. The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing in the areas above to use water sparingly for their immediate needs during the temporary disruption period.
