The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers living in the following parts of Navua that water supply will be temporarily disrupted from 10am to 5pm Sunday (24/03/19).Affected Areas Include:
- Queens Highway from Navua Bridge to Nasasa junction.
- Navua Town
- Naitonitoni
- Naitata
- Vuninokonoko
- Sadro Road
- Wainidovo Road
- Vunibau
- Debua Village
- Vakabalea Road
- Busa Farm Road
- Nasasa
- Viwawa
The interruption in supply is to allow WAF crew members to carry out replacement works to the 300MM bypass valve between the inlet and outlet of Nayagi Reservoir in Navua. The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing in the areas above to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period. Water carting trucks are on standby to service the areas as and when the need arises. For water carting requests members of the public are to contact the Authority’s National Call Centre on 3346777 or 5777. Water supply is expected to be normalised by 5pm Sunday afternoon (24/03/19).
