The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers living along Nausori to Suva that they will be experiencing low water pressure to intermittent supply from now until further notice.
Affected Areas Include customers feeding from:
- Wainibuku Reservoir
- Tovata Reservoir
- Kalabu Reservoir
- Rewa Reservoir
- Raralevu Reservoir
The interruption in water supply is due to low water levels at the service reservoirs listed above, which is a result of the planned power disruption by Energy Fiji Limited at the Waila Water Pumping Station.
As of 5:50 pm (03/11) power supply has since been restored, however, more time is required by WAF for water supply to normalize to customers.
Therefore, water supply is expected to be normalized by 6:00 pm Monday afternoon (04/11).
The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing in the areas above to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.
