The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers living in elevated parts of Nadi that they will be experiencing low water pressure to intermittent supply during off peak hours in the evening from 10pm to 6am daily from today, Thursday (9/5/19) to Sunday (12/5/19) in the following areas listed below.
AFFECTED AREAS INCLUDE:

• Mulomulo
• Solovi
• Nausori Highland
• Togomasi
• Togolavusa
• Singh’s Drive
• Qeleloa
• Dratabu
• Chabhaji Rd
• Tunalia
• AD Patel
• Transmitter
• Veilandhan
• Nadovi
• Malakua
• Nawaicoba
• Vutuvutu
• Kajiqari
• Mulomulo Top
• Tabarak
• Elevated areas along Southern end of Nadi
The interruption in supply is due to urgent operational works that will be carried out on the rural off takes in Solovi, Meiguniah and Togomasi, to build up pressure and eliminate trapped air in the water supply system that is currently restricting flow towards the Southern end of Nadi.
The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing in the areas above to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.
Water carting trucks are on standby to service the areas as and when the need arises.
Supply is expected to be gradually restored by Sunday (12/05/19).
