The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers living in Nadi that they will be experiencing low water pressure to no water supply / intermittent supply from 10pm Saturday (13/03) to 10pm Sunday (14/03) with restoration progressively restored into Tuesday 16/03.
The public are advised to start storing water and always make sure enough water is stored for 2-3 days use.
Affected areas include:
- Tadra, Carreras, Nacava, Valenimasima, Malawai, Savunawai, Matavolivoli, Votualevu and Kartaram.
- Nawaicoba, Yako, Malamala, Nalovo, Uciwai, Nabila and Momi.
The interruption in supply is to allow the WAF team to carry out urgent leakage repair works on the DN375 bulk supply main at Votualevu in Nadi.
The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing in the areas above to use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.
Water Carting trucks are on standby to service the affected areas during the temporary disruption period.
WAF urges customers to conserve and always store sufficient amounts of water to last them for at least two to three days in their homes at all times.
WAF also encourages customers to invest in storage containers or water tanks connected to the water system for storage and backup supply during any unplanned disruption that may arise due to emergency works or natural disasters.
