Repair works on the Waimanu ruptured pipeline caused by power fluctuations at the Waimanu Raw Water Pump Station early Wednesday morning (09/11) continue.
The on-going rehabilitation works at Waimanu will continue to affect our service delivery, as we are not yet in a position to return water production to full treatment capacity.
Fijians living in elevated areas such as Upper Delainavesi, Lami Village, Upper Tamavua, Upper Samabula, Kalekana, Upper Lami Town, Valenicina, Veisari, Matata, Tacirua, Sakoca, Dokanaisuva and Coloisuva are requested to store sufficient amounts of water as and when you receive supply.
Valve operations will continue to maintain levels and sustain system pressures until repairs are completed.
Water carting trucks are on standby and can be requested in the case of an emergency by calling 5777 (all mobile networks).
