UNPLANNED WATER DISRUPTION NOTICE – TAMAVUA RESERVOIR/TOVATA SYSTEM
The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) would like to advise its valued customers that the Tamavua Reservoir is experiencing low production levels due to high levels of water turbidity caused by heavy flooding.
As a result, our customers living in the areas listed below will experience disruptions to their water supply from now, until further notice.
Customers in these areas are kindly advised to store in their homes, while it is still available, sufficient amounts of water to last them for at least 2 to 3 days and are requested to use water wisely during this temporary disruption period.
– Tamavua Reservoir
Elevated Areas along Upper Ragg Avenue, Mika Dreu Place, Pathik Crescent, Amputch Street, Princess Road, Samabula, Mead Road, Nailuva, Delainavesi, Panaromic, Uduya Point, Waiqanake, Osonabukete, Beniveli, Veisari, LDS, Qomate, Niranji, Tamavua Koro, Deovji, Upper Mead Road, Lovoni
– Nagatugatu Reservoir
No Water all feeding from Nagatugatu – Wrong Turn, Sakoca, Upper Khalsa, Tacirua Heights, Nagatugatu residents next to Reservoir.
– Tacirua Reservoir – Low pressure to no water
All feeding from Tacirua Reservoir – Tamavua Koro, Upper Ragg, Deovji Street, Tacirua Bus, Amputch Street, Princess Road.
– Dokanisuva reservoir – Low pressure to no water
All feeding from Dokanaisuva – Seventh Day Church Dokanaisuva to Tacirua Fijian School, Vunuleba Settlement.
– Colo-i-Suva reservoir – Low pressure to no water
All feeding from Colo-i-Suva – Naisogo, Colo-i-Suva Crest Chicken, Princess Road, Marshall Road, Taqairua, Vunikawai, Uluibeka, Colanaivau, Valesasa, Naitaqiri Nillgrey.
Water carting trucks are on standby and can be requested in case of an emergency by calling 5777 (all mobile networks).
