WAF Bill Payment Now Available at Post Fiji

The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) is pleased to announce the re-engagement of Post Fiji Limited as a payment channel, enabling ease of access for all customers across Fiji.

WAF Chief Executive Officer, Dr Amit Chanan said by partnering with Post Fiji, “we are now offering our valued customers an additional, widely accessible channel to pay their bills. This certainly enhances convenience for our customers, with settling your water bills becoming as easy as visiting your local Post Fiji office.”

“In remote or underserved areas, accessing BillPay services can be challenging. Post Fiji’s widespread presence ensures that WAF customers in these areas can conveniently settle their bills locally, reducing the burden on both customers and WAF,” Dr Chanan explained.

Post Fiji has been a reliable partner of WAF for over 5 years, showcasing commitment to service excellence and a proven track record in handling financial transactions on our behalf.

“We value this partnership and look forward to its continuation. Re-introducing Post Fiji as a bill payment agent in the maritime islands improves accessibility for residents, making it easier for them to make bill payments locally without having to travel to other locations,” said Dr Chanan.

Post Fiji Pte Ltd Acting Chief Executive Officer, Mr Isaac Mow is very grateful to WAF for re-engaging Post Fiji as another payment channel for WAF customers.

“We thank WAF for its patronage and trust in our brand. Post Fiji has the widest footprint in Fiji and this renewed partnership will provide relief and convenience for WAF customers around the country, especially those in the rural areas, said Mr. Mow.

Mr. Mow further stated that Post Fiji hopes to form synergies with other utility companies for a more greater effect and to ease payment for customers. WAF has been supportive of Post Fiji as a payment agent and we look forward to engaging other utility companies for the same.

Collaborating with Post Fiji opens up new revenue streams by tapping into locations with currently unmet demand for BillPay services. This strategic move enhances our financial resilience and furthers our commitment to meeting the diverse needs of our customers.
