The Water Authority of Fiji would like to inform our valued customers that our Wainikavika raw water source, which supplies our customers in Navua, is at critical distribution upon low inflow due to the continuing dry weather.
Nayagi Pump #4 will undergo replacement works to build up the reservoir level from 3.3m to 6m, scheduled for today (20/12/2022). Most customers in affected areas will be experiencing low pressure to no water today. We urge those customers who still have access to water to store it for use during this time.
We anticipate rain tonight to execute this low pressure to no water at higher areas as follows:
– Raiwaqa ALTA
– Calia back road
– Naimelimeli Hospital
Water carting trucks will be on standby and can be requested in the case of an emergency by calling 5777 (all mobile networks).
