Public Advisory – Tamavua Water Treatment Plant

Please be advised that the below reservoirs did not recover well last night through this early morning, thus, these reservoirs will be dropping throughout the day.

Waimanu Pump #3 is still under repair and Savura Pumps #4 & 5 had been frequently switched off due to low levels at the Savura Intake, these have resulted in a low production inflow at Tamavua Water Treatment PlantAs a result, Tamavua reservoirs and all other reservoirs feeding from Tamavua will be directly affected.

Most customers in affected areas are currently without water while others will be experiencing low pressure to no water this afternoon.

We urge those customers who still have access to water to store it for use during this time.
