The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers living in Lautoka area that they will be experiencing low water pressure to intermittent water supply from 8.00pm Sunday (23/12) to 6.00am Monday (24/12).

- Bavadra Road, Ram Sammy Reddy Road, S. M. Koya Road, Sarju Delegate Road, Kashmir Areas, Chandmari, V. M. Pillay, Razak Road, Kermode Road, Tavakubu Road, Sukanaivalu Road, Waiyavi, Vomo Street, Hollander, Simla Area, Sandalwood, Jinnu Rd, Kaunitoni Rd, Kara Punja, Cakau Street, Waya street, Dravuni Street, Ratu Meli Road, Adam Street, Tavakubu back Road, Eddie Wong street, Musuniwai street, Ganges Road, Ram Asre, Golf Link Crescent, Link Road, Vaivai Area, Tawatawa, Maharaj Place, Bulileke, Varamaoli and Tavakubu Village.

The interruption in supply is a result of urgent replacement works on the DN 300 Sluice valve to replace the existing defective high-pressure valve on Vuda Reservoir inlet which has been affecting the flow of water, resulting in the drastic decrease of water levels at the Vuda reservoir in the last few weeks.
Water supply is expected to be restored and by 7 am on Monday morning 24th December 2018.
The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing in the areas above to store sufficient amounts of water and to use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.
Water carting trucks are on standby to service the areas as and when the need arises.
