Public Advisory – Unplanned Water Disruption Notice

UNPLANNED WATER DISRUPTION NOTICE – WAINIBUKU, TOVATA, KALABU, NASINU NAGATUGATU, TACIRUA, DOKANAISUVA, AND COLO-I-SUVA RESERVOIRS
The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) would like to advise its valued customers that the Wainibuku, Tovata, Kalabu, Nasinu, Nagatugatu, Tacirua, Dokanaisuva, and Colo-i-Suva Reservoirs are experiencing low production levels.
As a result, our customers living in the areas listed will experience disruptions to their water supply from now, until further notice.
Customers in these areas are kindly advised to store in their homes, while it is still available, sufficient amounts of water to last them for at least 2 to 3 days and are requested to use water wisely during this temporary disruption period.
Affected areas:
– Wainibuku Reservoir – Low pressure to no water
High elevated areas including Makoi, Nepani, Nadawa, Ratu Dovi Road, Dibulu, Lokia, Davuilevu Nakasi, Koronivia, CCC & No Inflow to Tovata, Kalabu, Nasinu, Flagstaff
– Tovata Reservoir
Makoi, Kalivetau, Veitata, Tovata Road, Qaranivalu, Caubati Koro, Daniva, Niubalavu, Raikiwai, Niuvula, Niusawa Lane, Tacirua East, Cunningham, Khalsa Road
– Kalabu Reservoir – No water
All feeding from Kalabu Reservoir – Valelevu, Caqiri, Nawanawa, Koka, Kinoya Road, Vasant Lal, Vesivesi, Yasiyasi
– Nasinu Reservoir – Low pressure to no water
All feeding from Nasinu Reservoir – Kinoya, Caubati, Manohan, Center Point, Laucala Beach, Nokonoko, Koka, Kinoya Road, Vasant Lal, Fletcher, Mukta Ben, Vesivesi Road, Bryce Road, PRB Raiwai, Nairai Road, Lees Road
– Nagatugatu Reservoir – No water
All feeding from Nagatugatu – Wrong turn, Sakoca, Upper Khalsa, Tacirua Heights, Nagatugatu residents next to Reservoir
– Tacirua Reservoir – Low pressure to no water
All feeding from Tacirua Reservoir – Tamavua Koro, Upper Ragg, Deovji Street, Tacirua Bus, Amputch Street, Princess Road
– Dokanaisuva Reservoir- Low pressure to no water
All feeding from Dokanaisuva Reservoir – Seventh Day Church Dokanaisuva to Tacirua Fijian School, Vunuleba Settlement
– Colo-i-Suva Reservoir – Low pressure to no water
All feeding from Colo-i-Suva Reservoir – Naisogo, Colo-i-Suva Crest Chicken, Princess Road, Marshall Road, Taqairua, Vunikawai, Uluibeka, Colanaivau, Valesasa, Naitaqiri Nillgrey
Water carting trucks are on standby and can be requested in case of an emergency by calling 5777 (all mobile networks).
