The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers living in the following parts of Pacific Harbour and Deuba that water supply is currently disrupted until further notice.
Affected Areas Include:
- Queens highway from Nasasa junction to Galoa
- Rovadrau, Nakaulevu, Waikalou, Waidradra, Ranadi, Makosoi and Pacific Harbour
- Lepanoni, Wainiyabia, Taunovo, Dranikula, Qarasarau, Vanuadogo, Vunimaqo, Lomary and Galoa
The interruption in supply is due to turbidity of raw water being received at the Deuba Water Treatment Plant, caused by the recent heavy rains currently being experienced.
The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing in the areas above to harvest rain water as an alternative and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.
The Authority highly regrets any inconvenience caused to its customers.
