Public Advisory – SUVA

The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers living in following parts of Suva areas that they will be experiencing low water pressure to no water at times from tonight (28/02) to Saturday (03/03).

  • (Pathik, Nailuva, Howell Road, Lekutu Street, Waimanu Road. and Ratu Sukuna Road)

The disruption is a result of low water levels in the Tamavua Water Treatment Plant reservoirs due to the burst of 600mm raw water pumping main from Waimanu Pumping Station to the Tamauva Water Treatment Plant causing reduction of water production.

The repair works are already in progress and is expected to be completed by tonight.

Water supply is expected to be gradually restored from tonight up to Saturday (03/03).

The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing in the areas mentioned above to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during the period.

Water carts will be on standby to service the affected areas as and when the need arises. We apologise for any inconvenience that this disruption may cause.

The Authority highly regrets any inconvenience caused to its customers. For further enquiries, customers can call 3346777 and 5777 (Vodafone, Digicel & Inkk users) or email
