The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) thanks all Fijians who have taken the initiative to report issues such as leaks and overflows to the Authority and encourages others to do the same.
“Our teams work hard to monitor any damages to our assets so we can repair them as soon as possible and ensure that there are minimal disruptions in our service provision,” said WAF CEO, Barry Omundson.
“However, our operations and infrastructure covers a very wide area and it can take time to identify leaks and other similar problems. Early reporting by the public helps us address any breakages or faults faster.”
“We genuinely appreciate it when someone takes the time to report these issues to us and we ask others to do the same – if you see any issues that we should be aware of, let us know as soon as possible.”
WAF reminds customers to always store 2-3 days worth of water in case of disruptions or other emergencies.
