The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers living in the following parts of Koronivia that they will be experiencing low water pressure to intermittent supply from 9pm Saturday (11/05) to 7am Sunday morning (12/05).
Affected Areas Include:
- Part of Kings Road, Lab Road to Rewa Bridge End, Fiji National University – Koronivia Campus, Koronivia Research Station, Mosque Feeder Road, Koronivia Road to Tawakelevu Road junction.
- Dalip Street, Mahendra Street, Raghu Raj Street, YPD, Davuilevu Theological College, Toga Road.
The interruption in supply is to allow WAF crew members to carry out cut-over works at the junction of the Koronivia Research Station, Koronivia Road junction as well as at the junction of Toga Road and the Rewa Bridge end.
The works are part of the new ‘Four Lane Project’ by the Fiji Roads Authority.
The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing in the areas above to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.
Water carting trucks are on standby to service the areas as and when the need arises.
Water supply is expected to be gradually normalised by 7am Sunday (12/05).
