We kindly advise our customers that due the continuous rainfall for the past 2-3 days, there has been major flooding in Ba including the tributaries feeding the water sources for Balevuto and Waiwai system. Blockages and damage resulting from the flooding is causing disruption in supply to the following areas.
Affected Areas: Naruku, Kumkum, Motoruku, Chinakoti, Moto, Tabataba , Vunivaivai, Nasolo top, Tarivo, Maururu, Tauvegavega, Wailailai,TalecakeVotua, Varoko, Sarava, Navau, Koroqaqa, Field 27, Etatoko, Khalsa Road, Matniqara, Togalevu, Natutu, Nawaqarua.Siqave Vatiyaka,Sorokoba, Sasa, Varavu.
During this time, our water carting trucks will be on standby and can be requested in the case of an emergency by calling 5777 (all mobile networks).
In the interim, our team will continue to monitor the situation and mobilise to undertake the required rehab works once the flood waters recedes.
