The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise its customers living in the following parts of Koronivia that water supply is currently disrupted until 7am tomorrow morning, Tuesday (14/05).
Affected Areas Include:
- Toga Road
- Koronivia Road
- Davuilevu, Nausori
- Fiji National University and the Koronivia Research Station
The interruption in supply is to allow WAF crew members to carry out repair works to the defective line valve opposite Lab Road and a burst main located along the Kings Road, Koronivia (after the LDS Church, near Waidamudamu) also to carry out cut-in works at the Toga Road junction as well as the blanking of the 300mm mainline along Kings Road, Koronivia.
The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing in the areas above to store and use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.
Water carting trucks are on standby to service the areas as and when the need arises.
Water supply is expected to be gradually normalised by 7am tomorrow morning, Tuesday (14/05).
