UNPLANNED WATER DISRUPTION NOTICE – TAMAVUA, FLAGSTAFF, NASINU RESERVOIR
The Water Authority of Fiji would like to advise that due to the Tamavua, Flagstaff and Nasinu reservoirs not recovering well to its healthy operational levels, our customers feeding from these reservoirs will experience disruptions.
As a result, our customers living in the areas listed will experience disruptions to their water supply from now, until further notice.
Customers are kindly advised to store in their homes, while it is still available, sufficient amounts of water to last them for at least 2 to 3 days and are requested to use water wisely during this temporary disruption period.
Affected areas:
– Tamavua Reservoir
Elevated areas along, Upper Ragg Avenue, Mika Dreu Place, Pathik Crescent, Amputch Steet, Princess Road & Samabula, Mead Road, Nailuva, Delainavesi, Panaromic Road, Uduya Point, Waiqanake, Osonabukete, Beniveli, Veisari.
– Flagstaff Reservoir
High elevated areas and all feeding from Flagstaff Reservoir, Ratu Sukuna Road, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Muanikau Road, Laucala Bay Road, McGregor Road, Domain Road, Victoria Parade from Sukuna Park to Nasese, Amy Street, Johnson street, Spring street, High Street, Stewart Street, Brown Street.
– Nasinu Reservoir
Low pressure to high elevated areas feeding from Nasinu Reservoir, including Kinoya, Caubati. Manohan, Center Point, Laucala Beach, Nokonoko, Koka, Kinoya Road, Vasant Lal, Fletcher, Mukta Ben, Vesivesi Road, Bryce Road, PRB Raiwai, Nairai Road, Lees Road.
Water carting trucks are on standby and can be requested in case of an emergency by calling 5777 (all mobile networks).
